TBCC JANUARY 2023 GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

January 10th, Tuesday, 2023 Tampa Bay Coin Club meeting

7:00pm Pres. Al O. started off the meeting

Attendance : 36

Pledge of Allegiance

4 members collected their surprise birthday coins

Proposal accepted by the members to have Christmas Banquet Dec. 2023

at club meeting place and have Pipo’s Cuban Café provide the food. Also (5) 1/4oz

gold coins with be at that events auction, ticket sales to began next month.

Any suggestions, comments, or complaints will be address by the Pres.

Al O. to be discussed at the board meeting.

Thoughts shared with the officers and members about getting press/media

coverage for advertising our future coin shows and general meetings. Members

were asked if they know of any members who haven’t been to any recent meetings

to reach out to them and extend an invite back as well as anyone interested in our

hobby.

Bill L’s. presentation centered on a mini grade competition with the

winner getting 5 tickets towards the evening silver raffle. 2 place winner nd

was Sid K and 1 place Will Mc. st

Steve T. asked members who went to the F.U.N. show to share the

experiences and additions they bought for their collections. Will Mc. stated

he received request for the New TBCC medal for 2023. A few 2022 medals were sold.

The Valentin Door prize Winner: Josh S. with a Sliver Eagle

7:35pm Al O. conducted the evening auction

8:05pm Auction ended, followed by the Silver coin raffle conducted by Alan L. and

Steve T.

8:10pm Raffle ended. Meeting adjourned.
