Silver Eagle Door Prize

At each meeting a member in attendance is randomly selected to receive a BU Silver American Eagle. We use the Silver Eagle Door Prize to commemorate two legends of the Tampa Bay Coin Club. Former President Rudy Valentin and Director Emeritus Inge Taggart. Rudy Valentin’s brought the club back to life helping to form our current structure. Inge Taggart has arguable been the face of the Tampa Bay Coin Club for many years. Her tireless work and volunteer hours have fostered the caring community of numismatists we have today. While you will often still see Inge at the sign in table of our meetings we take this moment to pause and reflect on stewardship she has shown the club over the years.
