TBCC JUNE 2021 GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

TBCC JUNE 2021 GENERAL MEETING MINUTES
June 29, 2021 @ St. Clement’s Episcopal Church

6:00 p.m. – Doors Open to Members and Guests.
[ last meeting was in March 2020 ]
7:00 p.m. – The Tampa Bay Coin Club meeting commenced with the Pledge of Allegiance,
President Steve Tercyak presiding. A moment of silence and reflection was observed. The new
venue for meetings is now St. Clement’s Episcopal Church at 706 W. 113 th Ave., Tampa, FL…until
further notice. This June date was chosen for the meeting, instead of July, due to the FUN show
taking place. Next Club meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 10 th at 6:30 p.m., with a club
auction.
ATTENDANCE: 28 persons attended the meeting. 10 Club Directors/Officers were in
attendance: (alphabetically) Alan Lebeda, Andrew Lydic, Dennis Misiak, Al O’Meara, Richard
Schemitsch, Hugh Taggart, Steve Tercyak, Richard Arcas, Richard Tiffany and Tracy Trottier.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Tracy Trottier reported on the financial status of our club. Very, very
healthy, with only 2 minor expenditures in the past year of no club meetings. Bank balance
virtually the same as early 2020. 2021 dues are not mandatory, but donations will be accepted.
Dues will resume in January 2022. The club has had to secure liability insurance to qualify for
the Church as a Venue for meetings. Insurance also covers 2 coins shows per year. Cost was
approximately $500.00 for the year, and deemed necessary going forward. Cost of the Church
Venue is more than meetings at the Northdale Rec Center, but sustainable. Rec Center is still
not available. No set up required at this Church. Adequate parking in rear of Church. Restrooms
in rear of meeting room.
SECRETARY’S REPORT: Richard Tiffany did not cover minutes of last meeting (March 2020) as
nothing from that meeting is relevant today. Only the fact that club member T-shirts were (and
still are) on the agenda going forward. Further discussion on this matter will take place at the
next meeting.
MEMBER BIRTHDAY’S: None
Richard Arcas (or others) to inquire about WiFi capability in this new club meeting venue for
sake of possible (future) ZOOM call/attendance.
